About Jeannine Hoke
Jeannine Hoke grew up with music in her heart and soul. Early in her life she sang her first solo at a church talent show and soon she taught herself how to play the guitar and discovered God put in her a passion for songwriting. She attended college and married the love of her life, Harold, and had a 45 RPM single out on the Sonobeat Record Label, which received airplay. The songs were "Let's Get to Houston Today" and "Your Touch is Like a Whisper". In 1982 she put out a gospel album entitled "We're Making Memories".
In between raising her family she recorded a demo and would sing at different venues in the central Texas area where she lives. Later in 1996, Jeannine had the opportunity to sing at The Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, where she received airplay and was interviewed on KLAV radio. In 2001, she had a CD entitled "Here's to the Rest of Your Life", which was also the title of her signature song for breast cancer awareness. She sang for the Susan G. Komen Foundation at a Saks Fifth Avenue appearance and also the Conquer Cancer License Plate kick-off at the Capitol building in Austin, Texas. She was also invited to the George Bush Black Tie and Boots Ball in Washington DC in 2001.
May God Bless them all as they answer the call of Freedom.
